Educational Qualification for OHPC Recruitment 2023

Name of the post	Essential Qualification
Electrical Trainee	Candidates must be passed HSC with ITI in electrician. Candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate in electrician trade from NCVT will be preferred.
Mechanical Trainee	Candidates must be passed HSC with ITI in Fitter. Candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter trade from NCVT will be preferred.
Welder Trainee	Candidates must be passed HSC with ITI in Welder. Candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate in Welder trade from NCVT will be preferred.
Crane Operator	Candidates must be passed 10th examination from a recognised board. Must have Valid Workman C permit issued by a recognised license authority. 5 years experience in EOT cranes and 100 T load handling capability. Or Candidates possess ITI in motor mechanic or Crane operator can apply for the post.
Wireman Trainee	Candidates must be passed HSC with ITI in Wireman. Candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate in Wireman trade from NCVT will be preferred.
Store Keeper trainee	Degree in Commerce. Must have 1 year diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent from a recognised institution.

OHPC Recruitment Age limit

The minimum age of the candidates will 18 years where the maximum age not be exceeded 38 years on 01-08-2023.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules,

For SC/ ST/SEBC/ Women/ Ex SM – 5 years and 10 years for the candidates belonging PWD whose permanent disability is 40% or more.

Application Fees and Mode of Payment

For UR/ SEBC candidates are required to pay non refundable Rs 500/- as a application fees where candidates belonging SC/ST/PWD from Odisha, fees are exempted. For online payment candidates need to pay online through SBI collect ( Debit card, credit card, netbanking). After successfully payment submission please collect a online e – receipt for future reference.

Method of OHPC Selection 2023

Eligible candidates will be called for CBT examination of 120 marks MCQs which is divided into two parts.

Part I: 40 Question	General aptitude – Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, General awarness.	Total 2 hrs
Part II: 80 questions	Subject knowledge in the respective discipline.

Each question carry 1 marks and have negative marking of 0.25 for one wrong answer.

After qualify the written exam, candidates will be called for documents verification in Bhuneshwar.
